Pull ups vs. Climbing Grades

Do you feel that pull ups affect your climbing grade?

I’ve heard this topic discussed hundreds of times, so I wanted to make a survey to find out at least a little bit of the truth.

Is this a climbing myth or is it true?

Weigh in your data to help me find out the truth.

PLEASE READ:

For the purpose of this survey,

Please note the MAX PULL UPS performed WHEN you were climbing the grades that you note.

For example:

A) In 2017 you performed 10 pull ups at your maximum but climbed 13b.

B) But then in 2018 you did 9 max pull ups but climbed 14a.

LOG: 9 pull ups, 14a OR 10 pull ups, 13b

You may answer twice if you wish to include both results.
